About eCHAT

Eligibility
Candidates who have passed/appeared in Class 10+2 or equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects are eligible for eCHAT 2026. Upper age limit : 22 years as on 1st July, 2026

eCHAT
eCHAT stands for Common Hotel and Hospitality Admissions Test. It is a unique Management Aptitude Test based on state of the art Web technology and web solutions availed by thousands of students. IIHM organizes eCHAT every year as an online platform for admissions in Hotel and Hospitality Management.

Nature of eCHAT
eCHAT is an objective type of test with multiple-choice answers. It comprises Test of English Language, Mathematical Aptitude Test, Test of Reasoning and General Awareness. There will be 50 questions to be answered in 60 minutes.
